BIOGRAPHY

Nkululeko Nkebe is a visual artist from Bloemfontein, Free State.Nkebe studied Fine Art, Studio Art and Design at the Central University of Technology, Free State and completed in 2019.

Having developed a love for art from an early age by drawing portraits and buildings, Nkebe now has excellent skills in design,printmaking, painting, sculpture and drawing.

Working with a wide variety of mediums, Nkebe works mostly on social issues affecting people’s daily lives. His fineliner drawing titled Youth Slaves to Education won the Phatshoane Henney New Breed Art Competition in 2018; followed by the winner’s group exhibition in 2019. Nkebe was also chosen as a finalist in the Sasol New Signatures 2021.
